  Great beachside town. Especially love the bookstore and candy store.

  It's a lovely beach, but worth noting that the entrances around this vicinity are private and therefore locked, assumedly to maintain the appeal of this mostly planned community (est. 1995.) The same coastline is publicly accessible both immediately east and west of this area.
  
  That said, the small town center does pull off a Mediterranean feel that is unique on the panhandle.
